The main component of carbon molecular sieve is elemental carbon, appearing as a black cylindrical solid. Due to the presence of numerous micropores with a diameter of 4 angstroms, these micropores have a strong instantaneous affinity for oxygen molecules, making them suitable for separating oxygen and nitrogen in the air. Industrially, pressure swing adsorption (PSA) devices are used to produce nitrogen. Carbon molecular sieves have a high nitrogen production capacity, high nitrogen recovery rate, and long service life, making them suitable for various models of PSA nitrogen generators and the preferred product for PSA nitrogen generation.
Common specifications include diameter and length. The typical size of carbon molecular sieve particles is cylindrical with a diameter of about 1.6 millimeters and a length between 5 to 7 millimeters.
Common models: CMS220, CMS240, CMS250, CMS260, CMS185, etc.
Carbon molecular sieve air separation nitrogen production has been widely applied in industries such as petrochemicals, metal heat treatment, electronics manufacturing, and food preservation.
Applicable standard: HG/T 4364--2020 "Carbon Molecular Sieve"
