Zirconia beads

Zirconia alumina composite ceramic balls and zirconia beads are exceptionally tough ceramic materials, with hardness and wear resistance close to that of ruby. They represent a highly advanced and ideal grinding medium internationally and serve as an upgraded replacement for traditional grinding media. Currently, the zirconia alumina composite ceramic grinding balls produced by our factory are mainly used in industries such as electronics, coatings, inks, papermaking, fillers, dyes, as well as in research institution laboratories, for ultrafine grinding in ball mills, vibratory mills, planetary mills, and stirred mills.

  •   Zirconia alumina composite ceramic balls and zirconia beads are a particularly tough ceramic material, with hardness and wear resistance close to that of ruby. They are currently very advanced and extremely ideal grinding media internationally, and also represent an upgrade from traditional grinding media. At present, the zirconia alumina composite ceramic grinding balls produced by our factory are mainly used in the electronics industry, coatings, inks, papermaking, fillers, dyes, and other industries, as well as in research institution laboratories, for ultrafine grinding in ball mills, vibratory mills, planetary mills, and stirring mills.

       Product Features:

      Suitable for grinding materials with high hardness and viscosity

      High specific gravity (6.05); the larger the grinding bead mass, the greater the grinding shear force provided, improving grinding efficiency

      Corrosion resistant to acids, alkalis, and salts; smooth surface, easy to clean

      High mechanical strength, impact resistant, does not break during high-speed operation

      Wear resistance: 30-50 times that of glass beads, about 8 times that of zirconium silicate beads

      Grinding efficiency: 10-12 times that of glass beads, 4-6 times that of zirconium silicate beads

      Common specifications: Ø0.2-60mm

       Applicable Equipment Fields:

      0.5-3mm spherical grinding media suitable for sand mills

      5-20mm spherical grinding media suitable for stirrers and rolling ball mills

      Spherical grinding media above 20mm suitable for rolling ball mills

      Widely used in coatings and inks, pesticides and chemicals, ceramics industry, non-metallic mining, food industry, nanomaterials, and other industries.
