Acid-resistant and heat-resistant bricks are a type of special material resistant to high temperatures and acid-base corrosion, mainly used in various industrial equipment, especially performing excellently in high-temperature and corrosive environments.
Physical Properties
Porosity: 12% to 15% Acid Resistance: 99.73% Density: 2.3 to 2.4g/cm³ Compressive Strength: Greater than 150MPa
Impermeability: No leakage under 1.3MPa water pressure for half an hour
Thermal Shock Resistance: No cracking after repeated cycles from 20℃ to 500℃
Application Fields
Acid Pulping Industry: Used in autoclaves, recovery boilers, and large acid-resistant tank containers.
Sulfuric Acid Process for Titanium Dioxide Production: Used as lining for hydrolysis tanks, acid digestion tanks, and other equipment.
Non-ferrous Metal Smelting: Used as lining for reaction tanks, towers, troughs, and stirring pools.
Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food and Other Industries: Used in various high-temperature, highly corrosive, and wear-resistant environments, with long-term use temperature above 450℃.
The main components of acid-resistant and heat-resistant bricks include quartz, feldspar, and clay, made through high-temperature oxidation decomposition. The manufacturing process includes ball milling, molding, and high-temperature firing steps to ensure the bricks do not explode or crack under high temperatures.
