Hexagonal corundum brick is a refractory material product with corundum as the main crystalline phase, containing more than 99% alumina. This material has excellent properties, with a very high compressive strength at room temperature, reaching 340 MPa. The load softening start temperature of corundum bricks exceeds 1700℃, which gives it strong stability in high-temperature environments. It has very strong chemical stability and good resistance to acidic or alkaline slags, metals, and glass melts.
Hexagonal corundum bricks have a wide range of applications, including blast furnaces and hot blast stoves for ironmaking, external refining furnaces for steelmaking, slide water coolers, glass melting furnaces, and petrochemical industrial furnaces. Due to their excellent refractory performance, these industries use them as key refractory materials.
