Expanded clay aggregate

Expanded clay is a lightweight ceramic particle made by adding excellent clay as a pore-forming agent and sintering at high temperature. It is reddish-brown, characterized by well-developed micropores, large specific surface area, high porosity, strong pollutant interception ability, and easy film attachment. It is suitable for biochemical, oil removal, iron removal, manganese removal, and filtration treatment of industrial wastewater from metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industries, and urban sewage. It is a conventional biochemical filter material. In the BAF process, it serves as a bio-carrier for phosphorus removal and nitrogen removal.
