Ring-hole proppant, also known as ring-hole balls, is a new type of high-strength, high-porosity proppant filler manufactured through shape design with grooves and protrusions. It covers and protects catalyst spherical proppant fillers. The product is drilled with holes centered on the sphere diameter, solving the rotational resistance problem of a single sphere. Additionally, four symmetrical ring grooves are cut on the sphere surface. The recessed grooves and protruding bumps greatly increase the sphere's pore volume and specific surface area, reduce bulk density, thereby further enhancing material dispersion and energy, lowering system resistance, and improving gas-liquid redistribution performance within the packing layer, resulting in excellent gas-liquid dispersion.
The product is widely used in reactors for refining, petrochemicals, fertilizers, methanol, coal chemical industry, natural gas chemical industry, and others.
